This is a solo guitar fingerstyle arrangement of Johannes Brahms' timeless lullaby, also known as Wiegenlied, Op. 49. No. 4. In this arrangement the melody is played twice through - the first time with chordal accompaniment, and the second time the melody is played almost entirely with natural harmonics (a chime-like tone that guitars can play over certain frets). A different take on a very well-known and beloved melody.

This little known Brahms Sarabande, originally for piano, is a great little piece that is at times introspective, while also having short bursts of exuberance. This piece translate beautifully on the classical guitar and can fully utilize the guitar's diverse color pallet.
