Released in the summer of 2016, Keith Gehle’s 5th full length commercial recording (Space and Time) is a sincere, heartfelt journey of healing through instrumental sounds and compositions. The album features 11 tracks of steel and nylon string guitars with accompanying piano, cello, flute, oboe, strings and synth pad sounds. Keith wrote the music and produced the recordings over several years after the unexpected death of his brother Ken in January of 2010. The process of grieving an unimaginable loss coupled with writing and recording music as a tribute to his late brother was extremely difficult and at times painful. The resulting work is honest, pure, and for Keith, a healing endeavor. This folio contains seven pieces from the album that work well as guitar solos and include detailed fingerings and interpretation. This solo guitar version of “Lavender Sky� was written and recorded as part of Keith’s 2006 Christmas/seasonal recording Songs of December. A few years later, a portion of this tune was used as part of the musical score for the award winning short film by David Field entitled Caterpillar. A third rendering of this piece with various instruments appears on Keith’s 2016 album Space and Time. This relatively easy solo version captures beautifully the colors of the December sky and is popular with students learning classical or fingerstyle guitar. The PDF print out includes standard notation with detailed fingerings. There's also a version with TAB on this site.

Vals Venezolano No. 2 or 'Andreina' as it is also known belongs to a set of waltzes composed by the Venezuelan classical guitarist & composer extraordinaire Antonio Lauro. This particular piece belongs to a collection of his waltzes known rather unimaginatively as 'Quattro Vals Venezolanos' or 'Four Venezuelan Waltzes' probably named by the original publisher.Antonio Lauro (August 3, 1917 – April 18, 1986) was a Venezuelan musician, considered to be one of the foremost South American composers for the guitar in the 20th century.The works of Antonio Lauro have long been very popular with guitarists worldwide, yet there have been few recordings devoted exclusively to him. However, several recordings by Adam Holzman, John Williams (guitarist) and David Russell have been issued. John Williams is quoted as having referred to Antonio Lauro as being the Strauss of the guitar. Another recording worth mentioning, A Tribute to Antonio Lauro by Thomas Cronin (guitarist), recorded initially for Irish National Radio on the RTE label, gained great appeal with Venezuelans worldwide.Additionally, Lauro's masterpieces have been the core of studies, workshops and Masters in universities all around the World.

The composer is unknown.Romance Anónimo (Anonymous Romance) is a piece for guitar, also known as Estudio en Mi de Rubira (Study in E by Rubira), Spanish Romance, Romance de España, Romance de Amor, Romance of the Guitar, Romanza and Romance d'Amour among other names. It is composed in the style of parlour music of the late 19th century in Spain or South America,History:The style of the piece is that of the parlour music of the late 19th century in Spain or South America. It has a closed three-part form, the first in the minor key and the second being in the major key, with the third part being a restatement of the first.The origins and authorship of the piece are unknown, hence 'anonimo'. It is thought to have been originally a solo instrumental guitar work from the 19th century, and has variously been attributed to Antonio Rubira, David del Castillo, Francisco Tárrega, Fernando Sor, Daniel Fortea, Francisco Vicaria l Llobet, Antonio Cano, Vicente Gómez, and Narciso Yepes.
