Edition Schwalbe #1066533. Published by Edition Schwalbe (A0.1489661). H.M.S. Pinafore is an operetta in two acts with music by Arthur Sullivan. It was premiered on 25 May 1878 in London theatre Opera comique and had one  of the highest performance rates of that time. The story is about love between people of different society classes on board of the British warship H.M.S. Pinafore  and mocks so about the British class system.  The arrangement of the overture is kept in the original key of the composition for symphony orchestra. Is was first time performed by Salzburg Wind  Philharmonic conducted by Hansjoerg Angerer at their Three Kings' Concert on 6 January 2023 in the Grosses Festspielhaus (Large Festival Hall) in  Salzburg, Austria and broadcasted live by Austrian television.
