The act’s heyday dates back to the late-1980s/early-1990s. Around this time, a couple of their LPs broke the top 10 of the UK Albums Chart - 'Looking for Linda' is from their 1988 album, Remote. The song peaked at number 15 in the singles chart in January 1989, making it their best chart position. After a short fanfare, the groove kicks in and the lovely melody is passed around the band, with some great chord shifts along the way. Puch the nostalgia button with this rather enigmatic song that should be more well-known.

It was the second single released from her fifth studio album 'Hounds of Love' (1985). Cloudbusting peaked at No. 20 on the UK Singles Chart. Taking inspiration from the 1973 Peter Reich memoir A Book of Dreams, the song is about the very close relationship between psychiatrist and philosopher Wilhelm Reich and his young son, Peter, told from the point of view of the mature Peter. It describes the boy's memories of his life with Reich on their family farm, called Orgonon, where the two spent time cloudbusting, a rain-making process which involved using a machine pointing at the sky. The lyrics further describe Reich's abrupt arrest and imprisonment, the pain of loss the young Peter felt, and his helplessness at being unable to protect his father. The predominant string texture has been retained in this concert band arrangement, transposed to a more band-friendly key and the thumping percussion recalls Kate Bush's megahit 'Running Up That Hill'. I Love Your Smile is a song by American singer-songwriter Shanice, released in October 1991 as the lead single from her second studio album, 'Inner Child'. It features a saxophone solo by Branford Marsalis (retained in this arrangement) and, to date, I Love Your Smile is Shanice's best known and most successful hit. It charted well in the US and across Europe and in 1992, Shanice was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Female R&B Vocal Performance. NME ranked I Love Your Smile number 50 in their list of Singles of the Year in December 1992 and it always seems to find new fans from all generations online, where the video has been viewed millions of times. There is a little snippet of Debussy's 'Arabesque No. 1', which is featured in a remix version of the track and the chart ends with another sax solo to bring everything to a peaceful, happy close.
