Accidentally In Love - Counting Crows | Concert BandPersonally, I was always a big fan of the Shrek movies, especially the music. From 'I'm a believer' to 'Welcome to Duloc', all these songs keep stuck in your head, and I did not even mention 'All Stars'... But this one is upliftingAccidentally in Love is a song by American rock band Counting Crows. The song was written for the opening scene of the 2004 DreamWorks animated film Shrek 2 and appears on the movie's soundtrack as the opening track. It was released as a single on May 3, 2004, two weeks before the movie premiered in theaters. The single was commercially successful, peaking within the top 40 on several music charts. My name is Willem Aarts, and I have been arranging music since 2016. I play trombone and French horn myself, but I also love to transcribe existing music to several ensembles, from individual parts to full orchestra's and everything inbetween. It is always a challenge to add my own touch, but I try my very best with every arrangement I make! You can contact me:Website: www.wa-music.nlE-mail: info@wa-music.nlSheetMusicPlus: https://www.sheetmusicplus.com/publishers/3004231YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/c/WillemAarts

Concert Band - Digital Download SKU: A0.987813 Composed by Allan Gilliland. Contemporary,Jazz. Score and parts. 117 pages. Allan Nimmo Gilliland #42353. Published by Allan Nimmo Gilliland (A0.987813). The word Kalla is Norwegian for call, a theme that appears both in the inspiration for this piece and the structure of the work itself. Commissioned by the 2009 National Youth Band of Canada and funded through a grant from MacEwan University’s Centre for the Arts Research and Scholarly Activity Fund, the work was premiered May 13, 2009 by the National Youth Band of Canada under the direction of Dr. Shelley Jagow, featuring Dean McNeill as the soloist. For me Kalla is a crossover piece stylistically for the soloist. It draws upon both classical and jazz inspired techniques including traditional cadenzas with virtuosic runs and triple tonguing and contrasting sections featuring jazz plunger techniques, a unique sound not often heard in band music. The trumpet culture at turn of the century (late 19th century-early 20th century) in New Orleans was the inspiration for Kalla. Trumpet players would go down to the river and play a note to see how long it took the echo to come back. Soon, another trumpet would answer, higher and louder, and the game of one-upsmanship would begin. Trumpet calls and answers from across the city would sound. Kalla is based on this concept of call and response with the opening trumpet call coming physically from three different places in the concert hall. As the piece develops call and response continues between the soloist and ensemble.

Concert Band - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1398261 By Cascia Talbert. By J.A Roff. Arranged by Cascia Talbert. Country,Folk. 74 pages. Cascia Talbert #981538. Published by Cascia Talbert (A0.1398261). The Great Rock Island Route, popularized as Wabash Cannonball and various other titles, is a 19th-century American folk song that describes the scenic beauty and predicaments of a fictional train, the Wabash Cannonball Express, as it traveled on the Great Rock Island Railroad. The song has become a country music staple and common marching band repertoire. The only train to actually bear the name was created in response to the song's popularity, the Wabash Railroad renaming its daytime express service between Detroit and St. Louis the Wabash Cannon Ball from 1949 until discontinuation during the formation of Amtrak in 1971.The Carter Family made one of the first recordings of the song in 1929, though it was not released until 1932. Another popular version was recorded by Roy Acuff in 1936. The Acuff version is one of the fewer than 40 all-time singles to have sold 10 million (or more) physical copies worldwide. The tune is most famously associated with Kansas State University athletics and ESPN in 2016 named it the top Big Twelve football pregame ritual. It is also a signature song of the Indiana State University Marching Sycamores and the Purdue All-American Marching Band as the ISU and Purdue campuses are adjacent to the Mighty Wabash River. It is also associated with the Stephen F. Austin State University Lumberjack Marching Band, the Kansas State University Marching Band, the Texas Tech University Goin' Band from Raiderland, and the University of Texas Longhorn Band. It was also used as the theme song by USS Wabash. The song The Wabash Cannonball is part of The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's 500 Songs that Shaped Rock and Roll list. It is the oldest song on the list. This arrangement is for concert band.

Concert Band - Digital Download SKU: A0.486186 Composed by Hugh Vaughan Wallis. Arranged by Hugh Vaughan Wallis. Traditional. Score and parts. 75 pages. Allensbank Music #104587. Published by Allensbank Music (A0.486186). Allensbank (with an E – Canadians will understand, especially when they hear the section reminiscent of The Maple Leaf Forever) is a March originally written for Brass Band by Hugh Vaughan Wallis. It is in typical British March style. This arrangement by the composer is for standard Concert Band. Allensbank is a suburb of Cardiff, Wales where the composer’s ancestors farmed in the late 1800s, so the name seemed especially appropriate. Additionally, the name “Allen†has significance as being the name of the lake on which he owns a cottage, where some of the work on this march was done. Having received positive reviews of the work from such contemporary Brass Banding greats as Bob and David Childs of Cory and Black Dyke fame he has arranged it for both Wind Band and Brass Sextet.
