He  composed more than 600 pieces and had also a very successful appearance at the world exhibition in Chicage 1893. Hist operetta Der Schätzmeister op. 518  (The Appraiser) premiered in Vienna on 10 December 1904. The waltz Herrreinspaziert!, incorrectly written with three r instead of one to emphasize the  pronounciation of arolling r bacame itself very popular. The arrangement of this waltz is kept in the original key of the composition for symphony orchestra. Is was first time performed by Salzburg Wind  Philharmonic conducted by Hansjoerg Angerer at their Three Kings' Concert on 6 January 2023 in the Grosses Festspielhaus (Large Festival Hall) in  Salzburg, Austria and broadcasted live by Austrian television.
