This is a great high-energy chart for the wind ensemble, conceived as a big band within the wind ensemble. This arrangement of the popular Eagles song is presented as performed by Michael Buble from the album Crazy Love. It is sure to excite your band and your audience alike. A hard shuffle groove that drives throughout the piece keeps toes tapping.
A strong lead trumpet is a must. It is recommended in the score notes that the core big band instrumentation should use jazz horns and saxophones should use a good metal mouthpiece. Not by any means a requirement, just a recommendation.
