The majestic figure of the many layers of mountains shows the heights of art that cannot catch up with humans who are small beings, and we are immediately fascinated by the beautifully drawn ridgeline. 
This composition has been created with the aim of painting expression, that based on the imagination that the mountain itself or something that lives there protects the mountain and its surroundings. 

The theme is the Holy-ghost dancing lightly, the vital energy of the animals and plants that live there, and the majesty of the mountains, and they appear colorfully in various ways, such as the free intertwining of each phrase and powerful grooves that combines a wide variety of rhythms. 
The song shows tranquility and freedom at the beginning. 
In the first half of main part, the light and rhythmic theme and the calm majestic theme depict the contrast of each scene. 
In the second half, the tempo changes intermittently and gradually uplifts, and eventually it makes a climax through the return of the subject. 

It was created as a commissioned work to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the foundation of the Kofu Citizen Concert Band. 
It premiered by the band in March 2018.

Arrangement for concert band.

The 8th piece of the first volume of Preludes, a collection of piano pieces in the maturity of Claude Debussy. A well-known and beautiful piece of work.

The melody is inherited by multiple instruments and the bell-tone expresses the soft sound of the original song.
Although there are many instructions for weak notes such as p and pp, expressive performances that make use of the timbre of each instrument are required, without being constricted.

Commissioned by conductor Keiko Kobayashi, and the Sony Concert Band. Premiered on July 2, 2022.

Arrangement for concert band.

This is the third song of Suite �Bergamasque composed by Claude Debussy around 1890. Written in the style of nocturne, it is one of the most famous songs in Debussy's work. And also it is often featured as a repertoire among classical pianos as a whole.

In this arrangement, while respecting the original song, bold “reharmonization� (change of chord) is applied.
And further, an opening section as fade-in effect and an ending section extending the aftertaste time are added. All of them are used for creating new attractive of this song.

And, I am also inspired by the title “A sentimental promenade which had been named at the time of publication in 1900-1901. There are many weak sounds throughout this song, but each phrase requires a rich expression centered on romanticism.

At the same time, it is also important for the phrase to be passed down smoothly, and especially in the middle part, a flowing propulsion is required. I hope that those elements will be organically linked to the harmony taste, which is the key to this arrangement.

Arrangement for concert band.

This is the 12th song from Preludes 2nd book, which is Debussy's mature piano music. It is a depiction of the Paris Festival (Revolutionary Day) on July 14.

Against the background of the first triplet, you can start to see fireworks shining in the distance. After getting closer and closer and launching it bigger, it's dizzying and colorful.It's changing to shine. Fanfare-style motifs that appear on the way are deployed in various ways, and they are magnificently reproduced at the climax at the end.
And the French national anthem La Marseès concludes the song with a reverberation in the aftertaste.

The whole scale and the tonic sound are skillfully combined, and the original song is very pianistic.
I want to switch the tone and tempo firmly for each scene, and try to play crisp and colorful performances.

Composed by the commission of the Inzai City Inba Junior High School Brass Band Club, and premiered at the club's regular concert in March 2018. In response to the request from the brass band club to incorporate the essence of wa (=Elements of Japanese music) and matsuri (=Japanese festival and ritual) , this work is based on the image of festival at an ancient Japanese-style temple in an exclusive village. 
It is made of a solemn and mysterious first half reminiscent of a ritual and a lively second half like parading with a portable shrine. It's going to be enthusiastic until the end.

Even if you indulge in thought or shed tears without knowing it, you have to continue playing the clown on the stage for the expectations of the audience.
The composition seems to be the relationship between an individual and society, and it also applies to the relationship between solo and the band in this work.
