Originally Gried wrote a nine part incidental music for the play Sigurd Jorsalfar  celebrating the Norwegian king Sigurd I. The arrangement is kept in original key and as close as possible to  the original score. Its first performane took place in November 2023 by the municipal band of Zirl, Austria,  conducted by Albert Schwarzmann.
