Your percussionists are sure to enjoy trying out these cool sounds.Every person on a melodic instrument gets the melody at some point in the piece. I just liked the idea of someone starting to play the melody as people were getting ready for rehearsal and anyone else being able to join in! Plus, I thought it might make it easier to teach the style of the melody if you could do it as a full group.This piece was originally written for 5 percussionists. After finishing the piece I was asked to add in more percussion, a task which I was very excited to do!
