Go Team Band is based on a popular pep band theme. This arrangement is designed for any combination of band instrumentalists who are in their first year of playing. There are four parts of slightly different difficulties which can be mixed and matched. The band may repeat the 8-bar theme as many times as desired with variations in dynamics or instrumentation as chosen by the teacher.

Canoe Song is based on two Canadian folk songs: My Paddle's Keen and Bright, and Land of the Silver Birch. Both songs have been traditionally sung while canoeing to keep time. There are endless possibilities with this arrangement designed for any combination of beginning band instrumentalists. Four parts of slightly different difficulties can be mixed and matched. The band may repeat the 8-bar themes as many times as desired with variations in dynamics or instrumentation as chosen by the teacher. It is also possible to play Part 1 or Part 2 as a round.
