Full Orchestra - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.810726 Composed by Max Warnecke. Arranged by Ronald Babcock. Romantic Period. Score and parts. 67 pages. Gordon Cherry #1985483. Published by Gordon Cherry (A0.810726). Max Warnecke’s Konzertstück is characteristic of the nineteenth-century solo Trombone tradition. At six minutes in duration, it is considerably shorter than contemporary solos of the time such as the Gräfe Concerto. Like the David Concertino it uses similar martial-style opening and closing themes with a lyrical middle section. The solo and orchestral accompaniment are of medium difficulty and appropriate for school recitals or professional performances.

Full Orchestra - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.799454 Composed by Drake Mabry. 20th Century,Contemporary. Score and parts. 179 pages. Drake Mabry #1911267. Published by Drake Mabry (A0.799454). The work, written in 1983 is in 5 movements with a prelude and postlude framing the work, a central slow movement featuring the soprano saxophone and percussion and then 2 scherzos, one on each side of the central, 3rd movement. Thus an arch form of ABCBA. The 2 scherzos share the same material but in the 1st scherzo, this is done in a horizontal manner and in the 2nd scherzo the material is treated vertically. The 3rd and central movement is a Lament featuring a solo soprano saxophone and solo percussionist who dialogue between themselves and with the orchestra. The duration is 24 minutes.

This arrangement is for vocal and orchestra.
