Full Orchestra - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.920763 Composed by Henry Mancini. Arranged by Robert C. Olivia. Film/TV,Jazz,Pop. Score and parts. 81 pages. Robert C. Olivia #526643. Published by Robert C. Olivia (A0.920763). This arrangement was made at the request of Marvin Hamlisch. The Seattle Times Reviewer Tom Keogh wrote about this arrangement, “A highlight is certainly the silky grandeur of Henry Mancini’s theme for Blake Edwards’ TV series “Mr. Luckyâ€â€¦â€ This arrangement draws inspiration from the record version with an insert Mancini wrote later. The Hammond B3 organ solo as played by the great Hollywood session musician Buddy Cole is transcribed note for note in this arrangement. This part can be alternately played by Rhodes or other keyboard. The written out solo is a suggestion and may be improvised by keyboard player. Throughout this arrangement Mancini’s voicings and orchestrational content have been preserved. Options It is possible to perform this without Hammond B3 or like keyboard solo. In one version in Mancini’s hand writing he called for a Flugal Horn solo. This could be used to replace the keyboard solo. However, a cut can also be made in lieu of solos from B to Bar 50 or D. Instrumentation 2 Flutes, 2 Oboes, 2 Clarinets, 1 opt Bass Clarinet, 2 Bassoons, 4 Horns, 3 Trumpets (includes optional Lead Trumpet solo) 3 Trombones, 1 Tuba, 1 Percussion: Tambourine ad-lib, 1 Drum Set (optional solo), 1 Fender Bass, 1 Keyboard (preferably Hammond B3 with Leslie or Synth or Rhodes) (solo is optional), Strings.

Full Orchestra - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.534827 Composed by Albert Hague and Dr Seuss. Arranged by Bryan Kidd and Scott Silbert. Christmas,Holiday,Jazz,Pop,Standards. Score and Parts. 100 pages. BryanKiddMusic.com #140956. Published by BryanKiddMusic.com (A0.534827). The worlds of Theodor “Dr. Seuss†Geisel’s ‘Grinch’ and Duke Ellington’s “Such Sweet Thunder†collide in this brilliant arrangement by retired United States Navy Band Chief Arranger, Scott Silbert. It was adapted for orchestra from Scott’s jazz ensemble arrangement by his Navy Band predecessor, Bryan Kidd. This is an exceptionally fun, rewarding, but stylistically (“Ellington-ishâ€) demanding piece for professional-level full orchestra and vocal (Baritone or Bass) soloist; a jazz rhythm section and trumpet soloist are essential. Brass high note: Trumpet E6, Trombone 1 B-flat 4, Trombone 2 B4 NOTE: a letter-size (8.5x11) score is included with the set; a more easily read Tabloid (11x17) score is available separately (RECOMMENDED).

Full Orchestra - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.723172 Composed by Joel Jacklich. Concert,Contemporary. Score and parts. 63 pages. Joel Jacklich #6228003. Published by Joel Jacklich (A0.723172). This is the orchestral version of Elegy.  Commissioned by Mitch Sturman in memory of our mutual friend, composer John B. Edmondson (1933-2016).  Mr. Sturman had commissioned new works for the Wilson Jr. H. S. Warrior Band in El Centro, CA for nine years for annual Concerts of Premieres.  John B. Edmondson, one of America's leading composers of educational music, with over 800 compositions and arrangements in his catalog, had been commissioned by Mitch seven times for new works, including his last ever composition, Imperial County Impressions performed in May, 2016, prior to Mr. Sturman's retirement in June, 2016.  The first commission John had made for Mitch was his Serenade for Solo Clarinet and Band.  Mitch felt it would be a fitting tribute for me to compose a work also for solo clarinet and band.  This was composed for a memorial tribute concert for John B. Edmondson at Wilson Junior High School on April 6, 2017, where the seven pieces commissioned for the Wilson Band would be performed.  The solo clarinet, first clarinet, and first trumpet require moderately experienced players to play the parts musically.  All the rest of the parts are easily handled by a typical junior high school band or orchesra.

Full Orchestra - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1322867 Composed by Malcolm D Robertson. 21st Century,Classical,Contemporary. 111 pages. Mr Malcolm D Robertson #911135. Published by Mr Malcolm D Robertson (A0.1322867). Composed between the end of December 2022 & the start of July 2023. The Symphony is in 4 movements following a more classical ordering and is a little under 35 minutes in length. The initial rising scale idea with 'missing' notes pervades much of the material in the symphony The symphony took longer to compose than is normal for me as it was composed during the difficult period of my father's swiftly evolving final illness, death & dealing with the aftermath. The shadow of my father's final illness & witnessing his swift decline particularly hangs over the slow 2nd movement. The first movement after a broad but forward moving introduction, is energetic with a continual forward momentum. The 3rd movement is a deliberately elusive scherzo movement with a strange inconclusive coda. The finale, after a reserved opening is surprisingly optimistic pushing to a sonorous conclusion. As is the norm for me, I composed directly into full score.Orchestral parts can be supplied upon request.

Full Orchestra - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.927995 Composed by Malcolm D Robertson. Contemporary. 53 pages. Mr Malcolm D Robertson #6037979. Published by Mr Malcolm D Robertson (A0.927995). Composed in June & July 2020 & completed on the 19th July 2020. As a former Double Bass player, I thought it was about time a composed a concerto for my former instrument. The Concerto uses a relatively small orchestra (Flute, Oboe, Cor Anglais, 2 Clarinets, Bassoon, 2 Horns, Timpani, Harp & Strings), the string section should not be too large, 8,8,6,6,3, would be a preferable size. The solo Double Bass doesn't have a large amount of carrying power & so the dynamics for the soloist are marked up, as the MIDI playback isn't great for a solo Bass, the soloist's dynamics have been notched up still further in places for MIDI playback purposes, but can be adjusted down in concert performance. The bass clef has largely been used for the solo purely because the tenor clef option sounds an octave too high on the Musescore program. The Concerto is in 3 movements and about 17 minutes in duration.Parts are available upon request.

Full Orchestra - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1322866 Composed by Malcolm D Robertson. 21st Century,Classical. 29 pages. Mr Malcolm D Robertson #911133. Published by Mr Malcolm D Robertson (A0.1322866). This simple straightfoward work for orchestra originated in a work for the local Youth Orchestra, of which I was a member, back in 1985. Of the original work only the melody, heard first on oboe along with some of the accompaniment, remains along with parts of the opening & closing of the work. I've kept the original scoring, 2 Flutes, Oboe, 2 Clarinets, 2 Bassoons, 2 Horns, Harp & Strings. The title comes from an artwork by British born artist Tim White (who is particularly known for his science fiction & fantasy works), which inspired the original composition & is also the first name of my father to whose memory this work is dedicated.Orchestral can be supplied upon request.
