Full Orchestra - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1429837 Composed by Sergei Lyapunov. Arranged by Arkady Leytush. 19th Century. 65 pages. Arkady Leytush #1010472. Published by Arkady Leytush (A0.1429837). This work completely captivated me and within 2 weeks I simply dropped out of ordinary life. When this author is classified as a second-hand composer, I am the first to defend him. Awww.....find something like this these days. Of course, this composition has a certain amount of influence from Rimsky-Korsokov, Borodin, and Rachmaninov. But this is still the musical language of that time and the atmosphere created by the above-mentioned geniuses of Russian music.

Full Orchestra - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1459170 Composed by Richard Addinsell. Arranged by Marcus Martin. 20th Century,Classical,Film/TV. 124 pages. Cornelius Edition (uk) #1038140. Published by Cornelius Edition (uk) (A0.1459170). This piece was  composed for the 1941 film 'Dangerous Moonlight', a World War II love story with a sweeping soundtrack to match the romance of the plot. The film’s producers apparently approached  Rachmaninov to compose the score, but when he declined, the score for Dangerous Moonlight  and the Warsaw Concerto  was composed by Richard Addinsell. The composer’s unashamed use of indulgent harmonies and grand Romantic gestures goes a great way towards explaining why the Warsaw Concerto remains hugely popular today. An attractive concert item, scored for 2122 2230 Timpani and Strings. All parts including the piano solo are included together with the full score.
