Kevin Riley #150799. Published by Kevin Riley (A0.540665). Ben is a song written by Don Black and Walter Scharf for the 1972 film of the same name (a spin-off to the 1971 killer rat film Willard). It was performed by Lee Montgomery in the film and by Michael Jackson over the closing credits. Jackson's single, recorded for the Motown label in 1972, spent one week at the top of the Billboard Hot 100, making it Jackson's first number one single in the US as a solo artist.[1] Billboard ranked it as the number 20 song for 1972. It also reached number 1 on the ARIA Charts, spending eight weeks at the top spot. The song also later reached a peak of number 7 on the UK Singles Chart. In 2004, the song appeared in The Ultimate Collection. Ben won a Golden Globe for Best Song. It was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Song in 1973, losing to The Morning After by Maureen McGovern from The Poseidon Adventure. Jackson lip-synced to the song at the Oscars ceremony, possibly as his vocal range had shifted since its recording.

Full Orchestra - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1041526 By David Cook. By John Lennon and Paul McCartney. Arranged by Kevin Riley. 20th Century,Film/TV,Pop. Score and parts. 43 pages. Kevin Riley #646280. Published by Kevin Riley (A0.1041526). Eleanor Rigby is a song by the English rock band the Beatles from their 1966 album Revolver. It was also issued on a double A-side single, paired with Yellow Submarine. The song was written primarily by Paul McCartney and credited to Lennon–McCartney. Eleanor Rigby continued the transformation of the Beatles from a mainly rock and roll- and pop-oriented act to a more experimental, studio-based band. With a double string quartet arrangement by George Martin and lyrics providing a narrative on loneliness, it broke sharply with popular music conventions, both musically and lyrically. The song topped singles charts in Australia, Belgium, Canada and New Zealand. This version has parts for Saxophones but any important phrases have been cued in other instruments.

Full Orchestra - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.742587 By The Beatles. By John Lennon and Paul McCartney. Arranged by Javier Martínez Maya. Rock. Score and parts. 53 pages. Arte Nova Music Lab #6431887. Published by Arte Nova Music Lab (A0.742587). Yellow Submarine is a song by the English rock band the Beatles from their 1966 album Revolver. It was also issued on a double A-side single, paired with Eleanor Rigby. Written as a children's song by Paul McCartney and John Lennon, it was drummer Ringo Starr's vocal spot on the album. The single went to number one on charts in the United Kingdom and several other European countries, and in Australia, Canada and New Zealand. It won an Ivor Novello Award for the highest certified sales of any single written by a British songwriter and issued in the UK in 1966. In the US, the song peaked at number two on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.The Beatles recorded Yellow Submarine during a period characterised by experimentation in the recording studio. After taping the basic track and vocals in late May 1966, they held a session to overdub nautical sound effects, party ambience and chorus singing, recalling producer George Martin's previous work with members of the Goons. As a novelty song coupled with Eleanor Rigby, a track devoid of any rock instrumentation, the single marked a radical departure for the group. It was also the first time they had issued a single in the UK consisting of album tracks. The song inspired the 1968 animated film Yellow Submarine and appeared as the opening track on the accompanying soundtrack album.

This beautiful duet by Stephen Schwartz comes from the wonderful Dreamworks animated classic The Prince Of Egypt and is sung as the Hebrews find their confidence to follow Moses out of Egypt to the Promised Land.  It was sung in the film by Michelle Pfeiffer and Sally Sworsky but was also recorded by Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey for the end credits and released as an iconic chart topping single.  This arrangement is in the original film soundtrack key, configured for soprano and baritone soloists, with optional SATB chorus, but it can still be sung by two female soloists if desired. This version is a lush dramatic orchestral soundscape which would be suitable for any symphonic concert with vocalists celebrating Film and/or Musicals (since it transferred to the West End stage in 2020).Suitable for a professional or advanced intermediate ensemble.Instrumentation: 2 Flutes [ 2nd doubling Piccolo] OboeCor Anglais2 Clarinets2 Bassoons 4 French Horns 3 Trumpets3 Trombones 1 Tuba 1 Timpani 3-4 Percussion Drum KitHarp Keyboard Optional SATB chorus Strings This arrangement follows the film Pfeiffer/Sworksy soundtrack version but incorporates the Houston/Carey 'middle 8' words and music rather than the children's chorus version. You might also be interested in my orchestration of When You Believe also by Stephen Schwartzhttps://www.sheetmusicplus.com/title/meadowlark-digital-sheet-music/22560340.
