Full Orchestra - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1377811 By Antonello Rizzella. By Antonello Rizzella. 21st Century,Contemporary,Instructional,New Age,Video Game. 68 pages. Antonello Rizzella #962412. Published by Antonello Rizzella (A0.1377811). The author's intent was to work on melodic-harmonic-rhythmic materials always attributable to the Fibonacci numerical series, hence, as a consequence, the choice of the title, Nautilus, finding the natural expression in the artistic perfection of said shell of the logarithmic spiral to which the golden section is applied. The form of symphonic movement that emerged has a rhapsodic flowThe choice of the sounds of the harmonic field of the first part (bar 0-50) is therefore based on the numerical series (based on a scale of 10 sounds), tracing each sound of the scale to a number from 0 to 9 and making them correspond to the numbers of the series of Fibonacci from 1 to 267,914,296.The second part (bars 51-64) is based on a harmonic field of 9 sounds which, when superimposed, generate 9 triads formed by superimposed 4ths which are used at a distance of 2, 3 or 5 beats (series of F. , from the 3rd to the 6th number). In this section, isorhythmy is used according to groupings of values that can be numerically traced back to the series.A short third part (bars 65-80) is inserted as an expressive moment: it is based on a scale of 7 sounds (spaced proportionally from each other according to the logarithmic spiral: from the 1/4 tone to the major 3rd).In the next and final section the isorhythmic part is resumed with small changes in the closing coda.

Full Orchestra - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.751087 By Katie Gustafson. By Chris Eaton, John Hartley, and Katie Gustafson. Arranged by Brendan Elliget MAGA 537. Contemporary. Score and parts. 41 pages. BJE Music #6736981. Published by BJE Music (A0.751087). The Finlandia hymn (Finnish: Finlandia-hymni) refers to a serene hymn-like section of the patriotic symphonic poem Finlandia, written in 1899 and 1900 by the Finnish composer Jean Sibelius. It was later re-worked by the composer into a stand-alone piece.  With words written in 1940 by Veikko Antero Koskenniemi, it is one of the most important national songs of Finland. Although not the official national anthem of Finland, it has been continuously proposed as such. Other major uses of the tune include several Christian hymns and other national songs including Be Still My Soul.  This is an arrangement for both Orchestra and/or the Concert Band – It would work for either ensemble or combinations of both…  There are parts for Horns in F and Eb.  There is an optional Piano part.  There is a descant for Piccolo, Flute, Clarinet, and Trumpet in the last verse and an optional Amen at the end of the arrangement… Grade = 3  Duration = 3:25 mins. (3 verses)   The MP3 was recorded with NotePerformer 3.

Guitar Ensemble Guitar - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.797809 By Bananarama. By James Young and Sy Oliver. Arranged by Derek Hasted. Contemporary. Score and parts. 23 pages. Derek Hasted #6205715. Published by Derek Hasted (A0.797809). T'AINT WHAT YOU DO - 5 GUITARS/LARGE ENSEMBLEFor Classical or Acoustic Guitar - sometimes it's erroneously listed here as Electric Guitar.Derek Hasted writes This arrangement was inspired by the Bananarama & Fun Boy Three release, but in a nod to the fact that this piece was written many years before it was re-worked, I’ve taken it back still further in time, and the piece begins slowly and stately, like a Pavane, before moving to a busy Madrigal and finally to Big Band Shuffle. The piece suits 5 guitars, but a large ensemble will, of course, make a bigger and more compelling sound. It is ideal for a mixed ability group - the lower parts can all be played in first position whereas the upper parts go as high as the ninth position. This arrangement is based on a version that was played in concert by the Hampshire Guitar Orchestra - it’s pretty much guaranteed to get feet tapping in the audience...I hope you enjoy this piece!

Full Orchestra - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1284960 By Trevor Denyer. By Guiseppi Verdi. Arranged by Trevor Denyer. 19th Century,Opera,Romantic Period. Score and Parts. 112 pages. Trevor Denyer #876085. Published by Trevor Denyer (A0.1284960). This opening extract from Verdi's Ernani is a suitably dramatic and energetic piece for chorus and orchestra. It will fit into an opening section of an opera fiesta, while being less known than many others. While Ernani is not well known these days, it was first performed on 9 March 1844, and it was immensely popular, and was revived countless times during its early years. It became Verdi's most popular opera until it was superseded by Il trovatore after 1853. In 1904, it became the first opera to be recorded completely. As usual with my offerings, print each part double-sided as presented, and the page turns will work.

Full Orchestra - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1272619 By Al Hibbler. By Alex North and Hy Zaret. Arranged by Kevin Riley. 20th Century,Film/TV,Pop. Score and Parts. 43 pages. Kevin Riley #864843. Published by Kevin Riley (A0.1272619). Unchained Melody is a 1955 song with music by Alex North and lyrics by Hy Zaret. North wrote the music as a theme for the prison film Unchained (1955), hence the song title. Todd Duncan sang the vocals for the film soundtrack. It has since become a standard and one of the most recorded songs of the 20th century, most notably by the Righteous Brothers in 1965. According to the song's publishing administrator, over 1,500 recordings of Unchained Melody have been made by more than 670 artists, in multiple languages. In 1955, three versions of the song (by Les Baxter, Al Hibbler, and Roy Hamilton) charted in the Billboard top 10 in the United States, and four versions (by Al Hibbler, Les Baxter, Jimmy Young, and Liberace) appeared in the top 20 in the United Kingdom simultaneously, a record for any song. The song continued to chart in the 21st century, and it was the only song to reach number one with four different recordings in the United Kingdom until it was joined by Band Aid 30's Do They Know It's Christmas? in 2014.Of the hundreds of recordings made, the Righteous Brothers' version, with a solo by Bobby Hatfield, became the jukebox standard after its release. Hatfield changed the melody in the final verse and many subsequent covers of the song are based on his version. The Righteous Brothers recording achieved a second round of great popularity when featured in the film Ghost in 1990. In 2004, it was number 27 on AFI's 100 Years...100 Songs survey of top tunes in American cinema.

Full Orchestra - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.533655 Composed by Carson Cooman. Contemporary. Score and parts. 39 pages. Musik Fabrik Music Publishing #3035627. Published by Musik Fabrik Music Publishing (A0.533655). Commissioned by and is dedicated to trombonist Haim Avitsur. Throughout the work, the trombone is placed into a variety of different musical contexts—sometimes with bleakness and sometimes with warmth. The work begins with the tubular bells alone, presenting the principal musical material of the work. The strings enter with a suspended tapestry, through which the trombone plays its opening melodies. In this section, the trombone has a cantorial role—singing and interacting with the orchestra. These opening musical ideas are developed as the trumpet, horn, and clarinet join the trombone in soloistic roles. A signal gesture on the trumpet is heard once, interrupting the tapestry. When the signal is heard again, the music accelerates into the second section. The second section is fast and bell-like as the trombone sings excited lines through ringing masses of sound. Whirring figurations emerge in the winds and are picked up by the strings. The sectiongrows wilder until it climaxes in hammer chords. From this, the trumpet, bells, and trombone emerge—maintaining and propelling the energy of thesection. Gradually, the energy is released, leading into the third section. The third section is chorale-like, combining again suspended sounds in the strings with harmonic motion in the winds in brass. The trombone again plays a cantorial role. A build up of energy occurs at the end of this section, leading into the fourth and final section—the cadenza. The trombone bursts into the cadenza, not with a forceful shout, but with a whisper. The work winds down to its conclusion—without a loss of speed or energy, but rather by the increase of silence. Instrumentation: 2111/1100/timp/1perc/soloTbn/strings The score by itself is available as another item. The parts are on rental from the publisher.

Full Orchestra - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1489317 Composed by Britt Andrew Burns. 21st Century,Classical,Contemporary. 90 pages. Indie Classical Publications #1066176. Published by Indie Classical Publications (A0.1489317). He orchestral version of Curiosity was completed in August, 2024. The work was inspired largely by my infant son, who reminded me when we lose our sense of curiosity in the world, we grow old. This high-energy work contains a simple motive in which all the thematic material is inspired from. A softer, more melodic middle section is lead by a longer theme. The work concludes with the original motive building in intensity until it reaches the climatic ending. Each part is carefully written to give each musician an energetic part, yet also with consideration to the instrument's nature.
