Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow! is a classic winter/Christmas song and what better way to perform it than as a duet for 4 hands, 1 piano. It was written in 1945 by lyricist Sammy Cahn and Broadway song writer Jule Styne. Cahn said that it was written on Hollywood and Vine on the hottest day of the year! There is a fun, optional part-switch spot half-way through the song, where the primo pianist can get up and trade places with the secondo pianist! Patapan, originally written in 1720 by Bernard de La Monnoye has become a Christmas favorite. This version is arranged for intermediate piano and can be played on 1 piano, 4 hands. The primo takes the melody, and on the 2nd verse adds a harmony note that may be played with the left hand, or combine with the melody and take it with the right hand. Another option is to play the harmony note with the left hand an octave lower than the right hand melody. The secondo part is a fun vamp that intensifies verse by verse. Piano Man, an all-time favorite, now arranged for 3 pianos (may be 1 piano and 2 keyboards, or 2 pianos and 1 keyboard). This fun trio consists of the piano accompaniment (level intermediate), the melody (on piano or an alternate voice on keyboard) level 3, and the famous harmonica part (must have keyboard or digital piano...or real harmonica!) The harmonica part also switches to accordion in a few spots, so must be able to switch voices, or add another keyboard. This part is level intermediate-a lot of 3-note chords.
