1 Piano,4 Hands,Piano Duet - Level 2 - Digital Download

SKU: A0.893929

By Jessica Darrow. By Lin-Manuel Miranda. Arranged by Joan Bujacich. Contemporary. Score. 10 pages. Joan Bujacich #6794295. Published by Joan Bujacich (A0.893929).

The upbeat, fun tune from the Disney MovieEncanto is a Duet arrangement for Junior / Early Intermediate levels. If students love this song, they will love playing this duet version, it is so much fun! It shares melodic themes between the Primo and Secondo partners.  Though it uses the dotted eighth note-sixteenth note figure in the notation, the coordination between the hands is always on the beat making it easier to learn.  It includes the verse, chorus and middle rap-like sections. The middle section melody rhythm is not performed with the strict dotted -eight note rhythm as notated but more like a swinging eight notes. Joan Bujacich also offers an Elementary and Junior level solo version of this popular song. This piece works well on the piano and makes a good rewarding sound without too much work for the student. Ms. Bujacich also has several arrangements of the other hit from this movie. We Don't Talk About Bruno. Ms. Bujacich's decades of experience as a performer, composer and teacher is evident in her musically friendly arrangements.

Filhos da Revolução dos Cravos / Children of the Carnation Revolution (2024) for Piano Duet [ca. 5' 21]
ISMN: 979-0-707704-21-9

The songs of intervention that filled the revolutionary spirit are perceived by the generations born afterwards as grandfather’s little stories. The children of a revolution are always calm and carefree, but this complacent detachment contains within itself the germs of new tensions that could become the cause and beginning of a new revolution.

The original version, for Orff instruments, was written for the Instrumental Group of the Vila Praia de Âncora Primary and Secondary School to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Carnation Revolution.

The generative complex that organises the whole work {6[2, 2, 2], 2, 9[3, 3, 3]} is taken from the number of letters in the words of the title.

-oOo-

By Carolina Gaitan, Mauro Castillo, Adassa, Rhenzy. By Lin-Manuel Miranda. Arranged by Joan Bujacich. Contemporary. Score. 7 pages. Joan Bujacich #6747451. Published by Joan Bujacich (A0.893926).

This is a  37 measure, 4-hand (duet),  piano arrangement of the very popular We Don't Talk About Bruno from the Disney movie, Encanto. The student part is on the Late Elementary, Junior Level. The student part has simplified the syncopated Latin rhythms and does not use anything faster than an eighth note in the notation.  The opening dialogue between Pepa and Felix is shared between the Student and  Teacher, with the Teacher playing the tricky answer lines of Pepa.  The Teacher part uses the rhythms of the original version and captures the Latin feel.  The lyrics are included! There also is a little section where the student claps on 2 and 4  to get the audience into the spirit!
