1 Piano,4 Hands,Piano Duet - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.733568 By Lady Antebellum. By Jule Styne. Arranged by Amy J. Snyder. Christmas,Holiday. Score. 11 pages. Amy J. Snyder #3571491. Published by Amy J. Snyder (A0.733568). Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow! is a classic winter/Christmas song and what better way to perform it than as a duet for 4 hands, 1 piano. It was written in 1945 by lyricist Sammy Cahn and Broadway song writer Jule Styne. Cahn said that it was written on Hollywood and Vine on the hottest day of the year! This arrangement contains chromatic runs, triplets, swing rhythm, arpeggios, gorgeous, rich chording, and lots of helpful fingering! The melody switches back and forth from primo to secondo. There is a fun, optional part-switch spot half-way through the song, where the primo pianist can get up and trade places with the secondo pianist! Directions for a smooth transition are at the bottom of that page. This song is great for winter recitals, Christmas parties, or assisted living entertainment. Arranged by Amy J. Snyder. Instrumental Duet Instrumental Duet,Piano - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.596575 Composed by Juan María Solare. 20th Century,Jazz,World. Score and parts. 12 pages. Juan Maria Solare #4794271. Published by Juan Maria Solare (A0.596575). About the title: - First of all, entradora is an adjective that can be applied to a femenine noun. (In Spanish you have different declinations for masculine and femenine adjectives). The masculine version is entrador.   - Second, entradora can be understood in this context as a substantivized adjective, i.e. a word that is actually an adjective, but is used as if it were a noun, like if I say Now I will play 'Entradora'. (for a more scientific explanation check yor favorite English grammar book).   - Third, entradora is a wink to Argentine composer Julián Plaza, who used adjectives as one-word title of several of his milongas and tangos, for instance Nocturna, Danzarín, Melancólico, Melancólica, Sensiblero, Nostálgico, Disonante, Dominguera, Expresivo, Futura, Instrumental, Juguetón, Paseandera, Payadora, Solemne, Temperamental - and possibly others that I am not aware of.   - And fourth, the meaning of the word entradora in the coloquial Spanish of Argentina is this one: if applied to a person, is someone that easily makes friends, that wins the trust of the people very easily, who is very charming. I applied to an object (or to a melody) it means that it is easy to grasp, that you remember it immediately (as an earworm), that is accessible and uncomplicated.   - Oh, there is a fifth point: are you native (or good) English speaker? After all this explanation do you come to an understandable translation of this word, Entradora? If yes, let me know! The milonga Entradora was composed in Bremen, Germany, from 10 to 13 November 2018. Duration: around 2'15. Premiere by Juan María Solare on 8 January 2019 at the theatre of the university of Bremen (recital Neue -und alte- Innigkeit, New -and old- intimism). Second version: for 8 instruments. Premiere: Orquesta No Típica, 22 January 2019, theatre of the university of Bremen. Third version: for piano four hands. Bremen, 16 January 2019. Premiere: Selma Hande Gade and Juan María Solare, Bellapais Spring Music Festival, Kyrenia, Cyprus, 16 April 2019.  Video by the composer in his private Studiohttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4f89TCd3di8  Entradora is dedicated to Gudrun Zelle.

1 Piano,4 Hands,Cello,Clarinet,Flute,Vibraphone,Violin - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1103677 Composed by Siobhan Dyson. 20th Century,Chamber,Classical,Film/TV. 50 pages. Siobhan Dyson #706947. Published by Siobhan Dyson (A0.1103677). Chapter Two This small ensemble piece was written to showcase Siobhan’s second chapter in her life. After six years of higher education study, Siobhan is now ready to move onto the next chapter of her life by writing music for a variety of studios and companies. Siobhan is confident in her pursuit of becoming a well-known composer who is known for writing music for a variety of media. She is already undertaking this task by writing for a documentary and a potential game. Siobhan feels ready to leave and cannot wait to see what this next chapter brings her. She wrote this piece as a farewell to her lecturer of her entire RCS career, Dr Oliver Searle who she has admired and adored throughout her studies. Note from the composer: Dear Oliver, Surprise, I wrote this to say thanks to you, embarrassing I know :/ So as my last final effort to embarrass both of us I wrote this into my programme note. (Kind of cringey and, as I am writing this, I’m getting totes emosh) Thank you for being the best lecturer I could have ever asked for, thank you for being a great person who is caring, kind and someone who truly listens and teaches well. I hope to make you proud in my pursuits! I will always look back on the times of terrible dad jokes (not me), trying to break my stubbornness and all the funny times we had (mostly me :P). I will cherish all you have taught me (except the key signature thing, still not changing my mind on that). You have watched me grow into this weird, funny, and slightly embarrassing person. I don’t think I would be where I am today without you and, from my dark, dark evil heart, thank you for pushing me to being the person I am today. (So, if it all goes wrong, I blame you :P) K, Thanks. Signed: Your favourite.

1 Piano,4 Hands,Piano Duet - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1127872 Composed by Philip Le Bas. Chamber,Classical,Contemporary,Multicultural,World. Score. 12 pages. Philip Le Bas #728481. Published by Philip Le Bas (A0.1127872). Incidental music composed for piano duet (4-hands) in four parts by Philip Le Bas to accompany the Japanese folk tale (ghost story) Yuki-Onna (Snow Woman). This piano duet developed out of a cross-cultural project initiated at Morley College, London, in early 2019, aiming to create a melodrama for piano solo and spoken voice to be performed in northern Japan later in the year by young students of the piano. It is based on the ghost-story above, which is widely known in Japan. The tale was transcribed and published by Lafcadio Hearn (Koizumi Yakumo) in 1904 as part of his book “Kwaidan: Stories and Studies of Strange Thingsâ€, a collection that has been highly influential in expressing popular Japanese culture over the past century. Synopsis of the tale of Yuki-Onna: Two wood-cutters, Mosaku and his apprentice Minokichi, encounter a terrible snow-storm and take shelter in an empty hut by a river. The storm gets worse and worse, but they both finally fall asleep. When Minokichi wakes, he sees a woman all in white bending over Mosaku breathing bright white smoke onto his face. She then approaches Minokichi. She is very beautiful, but her eyes make him afraid. After a while she says, “I intended to do the same to you as I did to the old man, but I feel pity for you because you are a pretty young man. If you ever tell anybody what you have seen, however, I will kill you too.†And she vanishes into the snow storm. It is then that Minokichi discovers Mosaku dead on the floor of the hut. Years later Minokichi meets a beautiful girl, who calls herself O-Yuki. He falls in love with her and they live together in his house, along with his mother, who fortunately takes a liking to her new “honourable daughter-in-law.†Over the years O-Yuki gives birth to ten children and the villagers all agree that she is a wonderful person. But she is somehow different from them, as she continues to look young and fresh, despite the passing years. Minokichi often thinks of telling O-Yuki about the events of years ago, and eventually, as he is gazing at her beauty one night, he can resist it no more. He begins to tell her about the snow storm and the terrifying snow-woman. To his horror O-Yuki becomes more and more angry, and she finally says: “It was me, it was me,… and I said I would kill you if you ever told anyone! But for these children asleep here, I would do so this very moment! You had better take very good care of them; for if ever they have reason to complain of you, I will treat you as you deserve!†As she screams at him her voice becomes thin, like the crying of the wind, and she melts into a bright white mist spiraling into the roof-beams. At that moment it starts to snow, but O-Yuki is never seen again.

1 Piano,4 Hands,Piano Duet - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.893929 By Jessica Darrow. By Lin-Manuel Miranda. Arranged by Joan Bujacich. Contemporary. Score. 10 pages. Joan Bujacich #6794295. Published by Joan Bujacich (A0.893929). The upbeat, fun tune from the Disney MovieEncanto is a Duet arrangement for Junior / Early Intermediate levels. If students love this song, they will love playing this duet version, it is so much fun! It shares melodic themes between the Primo and Secondo partners.  Though it uses the dotted eighth note-sixteenth note figure in the notation, the coordination between the hands is always on the beat making it easier to learn.  It includes the verse, chorus and middle rap-like sections. The middle section melody rhythm is not performed with the strict dotted -eight note rhythm as notated but more like a swinging eight notes. Joan Bujacich also offers an Elementary and Junior level solo version of this popular song. This piece works well on the piano and makes a good rewarding sound without too much work for the student. Ms. Bujacich also has several arrangements of the other hit from this movie. We Don't Talk About Bruno. Ms. Bujacich's decades of experience as a performer, composer and teacher is evident in her musically friendly arrangements.

Instrumental Duet Instrumental Duet,Piano - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.740007 Composed by Erik Satie (1866-1925). Arranged by Len Rhodes. 20th Century,Concert,Graduation. Score and parts. 12 pages. Len Rhodes Music #5200099. Published by Len Rhodes Music (A0.740007). Satie - Trois Gnossiennes for piano transcribed, and NOW AVAILABLE for piano duet. The three pieces have been perfectly arranged for the late elementary/early intermediate pianist on the higher part (primo); and a teacher or more advanced pianist on the lower part (secundo). In no. 1. the melodic line is shared between the hands in the upper part - the acciaccatura's are included, but these can be omitted if too challenging. The lower player has the chord progression, as Satie intended, only shared between the hands. In no. 2, the melodic line is doubled in the upper part (hands an octave apart). The lower part has the chord progression. In no. 3, the melodic line is again shared between the hands in the upper part - the few acciaccatura's are included, but these can be omitted if too challenging. Bar 24- 34 is an example of Satie's innovative new scales, in this case a simple six-note scale, constructed with the notes from the E minor and F# major triad chords. Arranger's note: Erik Satie often added whimsical instructions to his music: Light as an egg, Here comes the lantern, Open your head,Muffle the sound, Work it out yourself, etc. I have included, and translated, those he applied to these pieces.Your download is all THREE pieces.
