1 Piano,4 Hands,Flute,Violin - Digital Download

SKU: A0.1363988

Composed by from Geistliche Kirchengesänge, 1623. Arranged by Kevin Frecker. Chamber,Religious,Sacred,Traditional. 9 pages. Kevin Frecker #948290. Published by Kevin Frecker (A0.1363988).

This is an arrangement of the hymn tune Lasst Uns Erfreuen, often associated with the hymn text All Creatures of Our God and King. It is arranged for flute, violin, and piano duet and was originally intended for a small ensemble of youth musicians. Ideal for performers at the later beginning to early intermediate level. Full score and individual parts are included. The flute part carries the melody, while the violin part is slightly more difficult with a countermelody and dotted rhythms. The individual Piano 1 part has suggested fingerings for the pianist, while the Piano 2 part is designed for a more experienced pianist - a teacher or a more advanced young musician. Suitable for church services or concert performance.

Occasionally there are times in the life of a parent when a young child becomes a source of inspiration. Although I was familiar with this song from my growing-up years, I never actually watched Blue's Clues until my son recently discovered episodes from the early seasons. Within a span of a few days, I had heard this song multiple times and figured it would be perfect for a series of arrangements! This piano duet version uses the easy solo edition (available on its own) as the primo part, with the secondo added as a teacher part.
