The constellation is one of the Johann Bayer family, and can be seen in the southern hemisphere. It contains most of the Large Magellanic Cloud, a satellite galaxy to our Milky Way galaxy. The Primo player can knock on any wooden part of the piano or use claves (rhythm sticks) or a wood block for the Son clave rhythm indicated by Xs. The Primo melody must always sing above the Secondo montuno (right hand) and tumbao (left hand) section, which provide the foundational piano and bass parts of Latin music styles. From “88 Constellations†a collection by Heather Cattanach featuring one piece of piano music for each of the 88 constellations (to match the number of keys on a standard piano). Performance Time 1 minute 40 seconds. 5 pages. (General Instructional, Modern, 1 Piano 4 Hands, Repertoire, Recital, Latin).
