A suite for sax ensemble based on tunes from North East England. Originally written for Fellside Brass Quintet it has proved popular with with performers and audiences alike. There are three short movements each featuring two tunes. The first contrasts the jaunty 'Dance to thi' Daddy' and the more plaintive 'Have you seen owt of our bonnie lad?'. The second, slower, movement starts with 'Waters of Tyne'; ends with 'Blow the Wind Southerly... and, in the middle, combines both tunes. The third humorously tries to perform 'Keep Yer Feet Still, Geordie Hinny' whilst the Baritone wants to play 'Geordie's lost his Penka'. A truce is reached wth a coda based on 'Our Bonnie Lad'.
