This arrangement takes a 12/8 motion through harmony and structure that features soloists, sections, and a style of writing that contrasts light orchestration with density. A fun work that would suit a more-advanced high school or college group well - due to key changes and syncopated 12/8 rhythms.

Two zarzuelas in a single score. Alma de Dios is a lyrical comedy in one act and four scenes in prose, premiered on December 17, 1907 at the Teatro Cómico in Madrid. And La leyenda del beso is a zarzuela considered the work that brought fame to the masters Soutullo and Vert. The libretto is an example of the zarzuela taken to the field of operetta, with certain melodramatic touches, as well as certain exotic elements to give color. It is found in the album PRIMUM CONCENTUS 1982 by the Banda Juvenil Scout Maestro Jaén, directed by Antonio Domínguez Morilla.

This classic by the band Free has seen it's share of marching/pep band arrangements over the years but none that include the cool bass riff in the bridge like this one. The main accompaniment also has a unique take on the chord progression. Overall this arrangement is easy with the exception of some high Cs (concert Bb) in the lead trumpet part. Percussion parts include easy drumline parts for mallets, snare drum, quad drums, single bass drum, and cymbals. Perfect for in-the-stands playing for football and basketball time outs.

An in-the-stands rub it in tune for the band with a winning team.  This slow version of the classic Na Na Hey Hey, Kiss Him Goodbye is an easy-to play arrangement that is perfect when your football team is up 21 points in the 4th quarter with 4 minutes to go, or your basketball team is blowing out the other team on your home court.  Orchestrated for any band, this should not take long to rehearse and use.  Very reasonable ranges for all instrument and playable by even middle school bands.   Substitute a drum set for your pep band and use indoors.
