Ræswian is an Anglo-Saxon word meaning to deeply ponder and analyze a subject through various viewpoints. I have known Danielle for a few years now and the dynamic of our relationship has altered over time. For the primary material of this work I used the first three notes of a melody I composed for her a few years earlier. I freely work through this material in an old folk-song like manner to explore how differently its intervallic patterns can be perceived.
