She walks in beauty, like the nightÂ

One shade the more, one ray the less,Â
Had half impaired the nameless graceÂ
Which waves in every raven tress,Â
Or softly lightens o’er her face;Â
Where thoughts serenely sweet express,Â
How pure, how dear their dwelling-place.Â
And on that cheek, and o’er that brow,Â
So soft, so calm, yet eloquent,Â
The smiles that win, the tints that glow,Â
But tell of days in goodness spent,Â
