Four hours later it was all finished, and the whole country was singing it soon afterwards. I got - not very much. Brass Ensemble - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.931314 Composed by Hans Zimmer. Arranged by Alessandro Macrì. Contemporary. Score and parts. 15 pages. Music Macri Editions #6691799. Published by Music Macri Editions (A0.931314).

Brass Ensemble - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.774879 Composed by Sir Arthur Seymour Sullivan. Arranged by Bill Wilson. 20th Century. Score and parts. 22 pages. Alexander Wilson #553031. Published by Alexander Wilson (A0.774879). Arthur Sullivan wrote the music to The Lost Chord at his brother's deathbed. It is wistful, introspective, emotional, and rises to a powerful climax. There are arrangements of this fabulous song for brass quintet, but they omit what I feel are important harmonic elements that are included in this brass sextet version. This powerful piece is suitable in a serious concert setting or in a church setting where the message is about loss. A Toot Suite Brass Arrangement for two Bb trumpets, French horn, trombone, baritone, and tuba.  Performance time is approximately 3:30.  Visit our website, www.tootsuitebrasspublishing.com, for a catalog of our arrangements available through sheetmusicplus.com.

Brass Ensemble - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.808659 Composed by Joseph E. Howard and Ida Emerson. Arranged by F. Leslie Smith. Pop,Traditional. Score and parts. 23 pages. Sweetwater Brass Press #2070943. Published by Sweetwater Brass Press (A0.808659). Prerecorded wax cylinders were first marketed in 1889. Ten years later, when this Howard and Emerson tune was published, those cylinders were referred to as records, and Arthur Collins made the first recording of Hello! Ma Baby. The lyrics tell the tale of a guy who has a girlfriend he knows only through the telephone. This was one of the first songs to deal with the telephone (that medium, too, being still pretty new). The chorus was kicked back into the spotlight in 1955 when a certain movie frog sang and danced his way across a Warner Brothers cartoon background. The current version used the 1899 sheet music as its source, but is a completely original arrangement that enhances the ragtime feel of the music. This is an infectious piece that is fun to play and a toe-tapper for the audience. Completed in 2016, this arrangement’s performance time runs about 3 minutes, 20 seconds. Contact the arranger, Les Smith, at lessmith@ufl.edu. If you like this novelty number, be sure to check out Sweetwater's Funeral March of a Marionette, Goodbye! So Long! I'm Headin' Home! Brass Ensemble - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.791040 Composed by Irving Berlin. Arranged by Kevin P Holdgate. Contemporary. Score and parts. 21 pages. Kevin P Holdgate #4966967. Published by Kevin P Holdgate (A0.791040). There's No Business Like Show Business is an Irving Berlin song, written for the 1946 musical Annie Get Your Gun and orchestrated by Ted Royal. The song, a slightly tongue-in-cheek salute to the glamour and excitement of a life in show business, is sung in the musical by members of Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show in an attempt to persuade Annie Oakley to join the production. It is reprised three times in the musical but for the purposes of the show that I made this arrangement for only 2 verses were required... a third verse could easily be added of course with appropriate lyrics. The song is also featured in the 1954 movie of the same name, where it is notably sung by Ethel Merman as the main musical number. The movie, directed by Walter Lang, is essentially a catalog of various Berlin's pieces, in the same way that Singin' in the Rain-which starred Donald O'Connor as well-was a collection of Arthur Freed songs. There was also a disco version of the song made during the 1970s, with Merman reprising her singing role in The Ethel Merman Disco Album. The song became one of Ethel Merman's standards and was often performed by her at concerts and on television. This is a simple arrangement of the song playable by all levels of ensemble
