This double brass choir arrangement of Gigout's epic Grand Choeur Dialogue is thrilling to play and listen to.  Even better: it won't wear down anyone's chops!  Range and endurance for all instruments is so reasonable that this could fit easily on a heavy brass choir show played by professional brass players.  But it could be played by strong high school, college, or amateur musicians.  

Scored for two choirs, with a total instrumentation of 4 trumpets, 2 horns, 2 trombones, 1 bass trombone, euphonium, 2 tubas.  The euphonium part can be covered by a trombone or a horn (horn substitution part included).

Heroic Music (or Heldenmusik) is a suite of twelve short marches and processionals, written by Georg Philipp Telemann in 1728 and is associated with various attributes of Heroism such as Dignity, Bravery and Alertness. All twelve movements have now been transcribed and arranged by Regis Booksgar to be played by Trumpet Quintets or Brass Quinets. Some of them have also been arranged for Sextets, Septets, Octets, Nonets and Brass Choirs. Some also include a Timpani. They can be purchased individually, or, if you prefer, as a complete set of all twelve at a huge saving.
Any of these selections would be a wonderful addition to any music library. They are perfectly suited to recitals and public peformances, can stand alone as short interludes and are generally well received by audiences. They are suitable for high school and college students but professional musicians would also enjoy playing these arrangements. These selections are some of the many arrangements from The Regis Bookshar Trumpet Ensemble's extensive music library which are being made available for the first time. In the past, these compositions have often been performed by a soloist playing on a Piccolo Trumpet, but these new arrangements are Bb Trumpet friendly as one player stated after playing through them, making them much easier for most high school students.
This selection, La Rejouissance (from Heroic Music), is arranged for a Brass Choir, with parts for 3 Bb Trumpets, 1 French Horn, 1 Trombone, 1 Euphonium and 1 Tuba, and is associated with the heroic quality of Joy. There is also a version which includes a Timpani, if you would prefer. The parts may be doubled as needed. Included are a score and a complete set of parts (15 pages).
Many of these selections are readily available for a wide variety of instrumental ensembles. Please take the time to look for other versions of this composition. You may find something else that may also suit your needs. Revered as one of the greatest German composers of the 17th century, Heinrich Schütz embraced his early studies with Giovanni Gabrieli and developed his own dramatic style of antiphonal music for voices and instruments.  Originally written for the centenary of the Reformation in 1617 to honor then Emperor Matthias and his family, this engaging composition translated as Praise the Lord for He is Kind was published in his Psalmen Davids (Op. 2) in 1619 and translates well four centuries later, giving today's brass choirs the opportunity to recreate those glorious antiphonal choir sounds of the early Baroque period.  Beyond brass ensemble concerts, consider adding some musical fireworks to your next band or orchestra concerts with this impressive and memorable showcase for your brass section.  Trumpet parts in B-flat and alternate C trumpet are provided. Need a fun 2-minute piece that is fairly easy to play for a low brass ensemble? This may fill your needs! It is arranged for four low brass parts and a tuba (Bb Bass). All the brass parts come in both treble and bass clef. Could be played by any combination of trombones, baritones, euphoniums, Bb Basses, BBb Tubas. Say you have two euphoniums the read treble clef, a trombone player who reads bass clef and a euphonium who reads bass clef. This arrangement is easily adaptable.

If your group is used to reading brass band parts and needs to read treble clef in all five parts. Fine. If your group reads world parts, you are covered. If you used a bass trombone to play the tuba part it would even serve as a trombone choir piece.

All God's Creature Got a Place in the Choir is a fun and simple little diddy that the smash group Celtic Thunder turned into a fun and simple hit. A piece that everyone can tap their toe to. With five parts used, in places, it has a very deep harmonic sound and simply duets in others. All in all, it is a fun piece to perform and audiences love it. It is arranged to be very flexible for many different combinations of low brass.
