This is a great piece to start focusing on tone and intonation for beginning instrumentalists. Definitely  a great addition for proper band warm-ups and concert program piece.

This version, which transposes from F minor to F# minor, along with a horn line that is in the upper register, provides a challenge for fingerings that will test the dexterity of valved instruments.
