The original key of E has been dropped to Eb to allow a better experience for all. To perform this well will require a very good solo horn and an accomplished low note second player. It has solo and whole band tutti sections and requires a good to very good ensemble to perform it. I wrote this as a piece to open the first or second half of a traditional concert. The ending itself requires players to move to the front of the stage for visual effects. The overall style needs a conductor and band to feel the funky groove and embrace the feel as well as the written notation.
