Brass Ensemble - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.912837 Composed by James Rees Europe. Arranged by Keith Otis Edwards. Folk. Score and parts. 11 pages. Volitant Music #3561839. Published by Volitant Music (A0.912837). The composer's name on the sheet music for this tango, first published in 1914 by Joseph W. Stern & Co. of New York, is Eporue Yenbad, an encryption of the last names of James Reese Europe and his fellow of Harlem's Clef Club, Ford T. Dabney. It was likely written for the famed husband-and-wife dance team of Vernon and Irene Castle. The Castles found Europe's Society Orchestra among the best they had worked with, and hired Europe as their band leader and Dabney as their arranger.
