Mine is not music to be analyzed, but experienced. The art Kulning is the practice in rural Norway and Sweden of singing high pitched melodies to call livestock herds down from the high mountains where they would graze. The songs can be unique to an individual, but are often family based so that the animals know the specific melody of their owners' calls.
