Gray is the day Opus 18 is a solo violin piece specially written for the CD Colors of Brazil, a project by the great Brazilian violinist Ayran Nicodemo. Unfortunately, the recording of the CD was postponed due to other violinist projects and also due to the death of producer composer Sergio Roberto de Oliveira. The work was premiered on 11/06/2018 at the XIX Panorama of current music – UFRJ Music School – Congregation Room. Main building, 4th floor, Rua do Passeio nº 98 – Centro – RJ. Violinist: Luiza Chain. In 2019, the work was a semifinalist at the Radio Mec Festival.
