This beautiful Scottish melody was played by a lone piper at the funeral of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. This is a short arrangement of 16 bars in the key of G for pre-Grade 1 + violinists. It uses both positions for 2nd finger but no 4th finger use is necessary. It can be played with separate bows and the rhythms and notes have been simplified a little.
