In addition to performing it as an organ solo, it includes the text for use as a vocal solo, in which case it could be played on a piano with the left hand playing the pedal part. This version is transposed to C Major (from Eb) for performance by a lower voice (mezzo-soprano or baritone), again to make it more accessible. This work is based on the hymn tune Picardy, usually known by the text Let all mortal flesh keep silence.  This work was composed with the younger, less experienced trombonist in mind.  The range is limited and rhythms are easy, well within reach of a normal middle school trombonist.  The trombone solo part is included, as is a Treble Clef part for either Baritone T.C. or Trumpet.  This would be perfect as an offertory, a somber prelude, or as special music.  The complete 2021 Suite is available on this site, and each movement is also available separately.
