I present to you a collection of five organ preludes on hymn tunes that I have arranged over the past few years.  Hymn titles include:  Lo, He come with clouds descending (Helmsly) ; Why should cross and trial grieve me ; God be with you 'till we meet again ; Love divine ; O're the distant mountains breaking.  These preludes are intended to serve anywhere as needed within the worship service, although most of them were written as hymn introductions.

Individual part. 18 pages. Carl Ziebell #804227. Published by Carl Ziebell (A0.1206034). This Partita on Llanfair was written in honor of the dedication of the Holtkamp Organ at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Madison, Wisconsin.  There are four parts, each in a different style.  Part 1 is intended to be a fanfare.  Part 2 is intended to be an allegro and includes Duke Street as a counter-melody.  Part 3 is intended as a meditation.  Part 4 is in a toccata style.   These parts can be used for pre-service, offering, postlude, or even a recital/hymn festival.  Texts associated with this tune include:  Christ the Lord is Ris'n today; Jesus Christ is Ris'n today; Hail the day that sees Him rise; and others.
