The first and the last part have a ostinato accompaniment, the middle part uses jazz chords to spice the piece up! It can be truncated at will, mkaing it flexible to use for all kind of occasions.

And then it would lie down for a sleep and dream of the days when it was a kitten.... It was a very reflective programme and turns our mind about What for the Autumn, what do we need to do next.. it really did fit in with the mood of the year, as we turn towards building up the programme for next year... So thank you, it gave us time to reflect in a very beautiful manner.... FLAVIAN, captures the somber mood of the forty-day journey through the Lenten season. Following the opening march-like fanfare, the familiar melody enters in the right hand above the drone in the left hand. Then the melody appears in the pedal, transposed to G Dorian, then, briefly to A Mixolydian. At the key change, the melody returns to its original form.
