This piece, written in C major with a modulation to E Flat Major was a lot of energy. It loves strong voices, including fiery reeds, both in the manual and in the pedal. Hoewever, it doesnt loose it's strenght when played with a more mellow registration. If carefully played, it can even be performed on a one manual organ with pedals.

It needs to be played with expression and feeling.
