Crazylegs Hirsch (June 17, 1923, Wausau, Wisconsin - January 28, 2004, Madison, Wisconsin) for the recessional music at Elroy's funeral service, which was held February 3, 2004 at Asbury United Methodist Church in Madison. With no known organ arrangement suitable for a service recessional available, this setting of On, Wisconsin! was written specifically for the occasion by Deborah Krauss, Organist/Director of Music at Asbury United Methodist Church at that time.

A one-movement contemporary, concert work for organ in six sections based on the simple tone Gregorian Chant Te Deum. This recording was performed by the composer on the Casavant III/35R. It was a commission for the dedication of this instrument in St. Joseph Chapel, the motherhouse of the School Sisters of St. Francis in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

This Partita on Llanfair was written in honor of the dedication of the Holtkamp Organ at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Madison, Wisconsin.  There are four parts, each in a different style.  Part 1 is intended to be a fanfare.  Part 2 is intended to be an allegro and includes Duke Street as a counter-melody.  Part 3 is intended as a meditation.  Part 4 is in a toccata style.   These parts can be used for pre-service, offering, postlude, or even a recital/hymn festival.  Texts associated with this tune include:  Christ the Lord is Ris'n today; Jesus Christ is Ris'n today; Hail the day that sees Him rise; and others.

A late Romantic medley of Christmas songs: Adeste Fideles, Stille Nacht, Puer Natus Est (Christmas Day Introit), Zu Betlehem geboren, and Es ist ein Ros entsprungen. Performed at St. Joseph Parish in Appleton, Wisconsin on Schaefer, Opus 132 -- 1929  III/27R. This instrument was expanded by Holtkamp in 2002 leaving the Schaefer gallery organ intact. Sr. Theophane wrote this composition for the Milwaukee St. Joseph Convent Schaefer, Opus 118 -- 1928 IV/44R. The warmth of the Appleton instrument presents the composition as Sr. Theophane intended.

Sister Mary Hueller, DMA, colleague of Sr. Theophane Hytrek OSF, was professor of organ and liturgical music at Alverno College (Milwaukee, Wisconsin) throughout her professional career. After Sr. Theophane Hytrek's passing, Sr. Mary succeeded her as organist at St. Joseph Chapel for several decades. Based on its Gregorian Chant counterpart, Ubi Caritas, it is a practical service composition written for the Holy Thursday liturgy. It is also useful throughout the liturgical year.
