Maker For 3-6 octaves with an optional 3 octaves of handchimes, this compelling arrangement is filled with the emotion and passion synonymous with the Lenten season. Typically, the addition of handchimes is often used for a melody line, while here, arranger Cynthia Dobrinksi gives the chimes an accompaniment figure to create a lovely change in timbre for the middle section.

Handbell - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1168488 By Loren Allred. By Benj Pasek and Justin Paul. Arranged by Michael J. Glasgow (ASCAP). Broadway,Contemporary,Contest,Festival,Film/TV,Musical/Show,Pop. Score. 8 pages. New Domain Music #768825. Published by New Domain Music (A0.1168488). The incredibly intensity of this slow-burn powerballad from The Greatest Showman is finally available for handbells!  Its difficulty level is due to rhythms; groups that already know the melody will find that this arrangement comes together pretty easily (and it's a blast to play!).  This transciption is in the same key as the original soundtrack recording, and faithful to Loren Allred's riveting performance.Accomplished composer/arranger/conductor Michael J. Glasgow (and his publishing division, New Domain Music) joins the arrangeme.com family with this piece, but his collaborative arrangement of The Greatest Show with friend and colleague Nick Hanson has already been eagerly received by the handbell community. While both of these arrangements come off wonderfully on bells and chimes alone, both have optional instrumentations for synth strings, bass and drums/percussion, and they are remarkable enhancements and highly recommended!  Search for Glasgow and the title of the piece to find the companion products.

Chorister's Guild - Digital #CGB494. Published by Chorister's Guild - Digital (C7.CGB494). UPC: 749193011720.A vision quest is a period of spiritual seeking among certain Native American peoples. It is a religious custom in which people climb to remote sites to fast, pray and commune with nature. Individuals may pray to each of the four directions, seeking certain benefits from each. This four-movement original work illustrates a prayer by David Dillon, which he used on his own vision quest. The movements use recurring but evolving themes, reflecting each petition of the prayer. A myriad of percussion instruments enhance the mystical quality of the music. The movements are entitled: I. I pray to the West which gives us rest and reflection; II. I pray to the North which gives us patience and purity; III. I pray to the East which gives us energy and emotions; IV. I pray to the South which gives us discipline and direction. Percussion parts include: Shaker (Maraca or Rattle), 2 Small Stones, Ankle Bells, Chime Tree/Mark Tree, Finger Cymbals, Whip Crack (without spring mechanism).
