When I survey the wondrous Cross is a well-loved Easter hymn by the 17th century, English hymn writer, Isaac Watts with music (Rockingham) by Edward Miller who was, at one time, a flautist in Handel’s orchestra. The arrangement is for 2½ -3 octaves of handbells with the optional use of handchimes. After a brief introduction the tune is played twice with a key modulation at the change. This piece will suit beginner to early intermediate ringers.
