Commissioned by the Austin Handbell Ensemble, Day One is a unique, atmospheric piece that would be an exellent addition to a performance involving space, movie soundtracks, or a theme of perserverance. It begins simply but treble ringers especially will need to problem solve once it reaches its musical climax. Day One can be performed on its own or could be used in connection with the handbell arrangement of No Time for Caution. Numerous performance notes are included for either scenario. It is a Level 4.Â
