Handbell - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.953732 Composed by Oscar Ahnfelt and Charles H. Gabriel, Walter Stillman Martin, and William Henry Monk. Arranged by G. R. Adkison. Christian,Sacred. Score. 6 pages. Gary Ray Adkison #15171. Published by Gary Ray Adkison (A0.953732). God: My Helper, Comforter, Companion, Provider, Protector is a 71 measure arrangement for 4-5 octave handbell choir, and OPTIONAL 3 octaves of handchimes. It is a medley of Christian hymns that deal with some of the attributes of God, as they relate to His followers. Specifically, it includes Abide with Me, God Will Take Care of You, Day by Day and Just When I Need Him Most. It is probably a level 3+ arrangement. The God Will Take Care of You section starts with a duet in the handchimes, with the melody line switching from treble clef to bass clef, in the verse. Of course, handbells can be used instead of handchimes, if desired. In the chorus, martellato is used in the bass clef, while there is a descant going on in the high treble clef, with the melody sandwiched in between. In the last section (Just When I Need Him Most) interesting chords, bass runs and melody line doubling, with chords filled in between the doubled melody notes, build to an ending culminating in a repeat of the last musical phrase, at a slower, more majestic tempo. The first 3 selections are more laid-back; the last is presented in a more energetic fashion.

Handbell - Level 1 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1049701 Composed by Traditional Welsh Folk Song. Arranged by John Wernega. Folk,Instructional,Multicultural,Sacred,Traditional,World. Score. 1 pages. John Wernega #654086. Published by John Wernega (A0.1049701). Here is a beautiful welsh folk melody that people still recognize today. This is an easy piece for young bell choirs because there is a single-note line in the treble clef accompanied by a single-note line in the bass clef, making it easy for young students to follow. This arrangement passes the melody back and forth between the treble and bass clef, and it has come nice harmonic surprises at the end. It is great for concerts, and since this melody sometimes appears in church hymnals it is also great for a Mass/Service at your church. Your students will love performing this piece!

Handbell - Level 1 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1049642 Composed by Thomas Haynes Bayly. Arranged by John Wernega. Folk,Instructional,Traditional. Score. 1 pages. John Wernega #654022. Published by John Wernega (A0.1049642). Here is an opportunity for your young ringers to play an arrangement completely written on treble clef! There are two distinct, independent contrapuntal lines, depicted with stems-up and stems-down. This is great for inexperienced young ringers because they are playing harmonies without all the confusion of finding their notes on the page. I premiered this arrangement with my third grade bell choir, so this is tried and tested. Your young ringers will really enjoy the experience of playing this arrangement.

Carillon,Instrumental Solo - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.944197 Composed by Scott R. Hummel. Classical,Contemporary. Individual part. 7 pages. Scott R. Hummel Music #6873653. Published by Scott R. Hummel Music (A0.944197). Two Impressions of the Sky presents contrasting movements, Twilight and Storm. With cascading seventh chords and a hymn-like melody, Twilight reflects a peaceful evening as the last sunlight fades into a star-studded night sky. Storm opens with swirling fourths and a dramatic melody in the bass. The whirling winds of the trebles are frequently broken by musical thunder in the bass and an ascending lightning motif-the storm lulls and surges, reaching a rapid and dramatic finale. Scott R. Hummel is a composer and musician from Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Scott holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music and a Bachelor of Music in Audio and Music Production from Lebanon Valley College in Annville, Pennsylvania. He has performance experience in keyboard instruments, choral music, and percussion. His introduction to the carillon came through listening to the 62-bell instrument housed in the Chimes Tower at Longwood Gardens, Kennett Square, Pennsylvania. Scott also serves as an instructor for the North American Carillon School where he teaches music theory. In addition to carillon, Scott has written for various other mediums, including choir, pipe organ, and percussion. His involvement in the music industry extends beyond composition and performance to audio engineering and lighting design. Scott continues to compose and arrange new works for carillon. Handbell - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.953723 Composed by Traditional English Melody. Arranged by G. R. Adkison. Christian,Sacred. Score. 4 pages. Gary Ray Adkison #14035. Published by Gary Ray Adkison (A0.953723). I Sing the Mighty Power of God is a 51 measure arrangement for 4-5 octave handbell choir that has three contrasting verses based on the original Christian hymn. The first verse is fairly standard, except that some chord structures are used throughout the arrangement that are not the standard chords used in the original hymn. After the first verse (at the normal tempo) the tempo slows considerably, for a majestic effect, and the very lowest 4 octave bells are used for the melody line. At the same time, the chord structure here is provided by treble clef bells, from the bottom of the treble clef, through the highest note of the 5 octave range. This approach alternates with passages that are up to 5-octave unison passages. The early parts of the third verse are heavy on descant lines---sometimes descant chords instead of single-note descants, with a couple of bass runs in this verse, as well. There is a tag at the end---the last musical phrase is repeated with fuller chords at triple forte. There is a very non-standard chord, instead of the normal five-seven chord, right before the last chord. There is a brief shake on the first half of the last melody chord. This is probably about a level 2 degree of difficulty.
