Piano,Vocal,Voice - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.983997 Composed by Steven H. Boothe. Arranged by Ashley Ivers. Christian,Pop. Score. 12 pages. Boothe Publishing #4360831. Published by Boothe Publishing (A0.983997). Whether its food, alcohol, drugs, or viewing pornography. Addictions destroy the lives of everyone around them.  I look at addictions as if they were little devils that have us down and are jumping on top of us and won’t let us get up.   Little by little the addicted and all of his friends and family lose faith, hope, love, peace, joy, and self respect.  The shame of addiction keeps them in despair.  They constantly have  voices in their heads that say you’re no good, you’re no good, do you hear me, you’re no good.  Well I’m here to tell you that is a lie.  You are good.  You are worth something.  Life , family, love, peace, joy.  Those are all things that are worth fighting for. Take them back.  You are not unworthy. You can fight the addiction. You have made mistakes that are correctable.  God tells us to resist the devil and he will flee from you. Then God says to draw near unto Him and He will draw near unto you. When  God draws close  to us, we will recieve His strength and power to leave the addiction behind. With Him we can overcome anything.

Piano,Vocal,Voice - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1248246 Composed by Ross Fiddes. 21st Century,Chamber,Classical,Contemporary. Score. 31 pages. Ross Fiddes #842808. Published by Ross Fiddes (A0.1248246). It was late 2015. You have written music for our children and for many others, but you’ve never written anything for me” said my bride of (then) 36 years.  Point taken. Whilst she had inspired me and had been a sounding board for many works, I had never dedicated anything to her. In looking for texts which expressed something of the love and admiration I have for my dear lady, I found some beautiful poems by the late Australian poet, John Shaw Neilson. These express emotions which are romantic, whimsical, allegorical, contemplative and more, providing marvellous inspiration.Rejecting the idea of narrative song cycle, I decided each song would tell its own story, naming the grouping Love Stories. So here is is.Throughout, the music is treated in ensemble; the piano does not “accompany” but supports whilst charting its own course. The work was premiered in the 2018 Newcastle Music Festival by Michael Lampard with the composer at the piano. And the dedicatee gave the performers a huge hug onstage at the conclusion of the work!YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s-E8lJpMVGE&t=2s

Piano,Vocal,Voice - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1220974 By Johnny Flynn. By Johnny Flynn. Arranged by SRS Music. Contemporary. Score. 6 pages. SRS Music #817318. Published by SRS Music (A0.1220974). From tellychat.co.uk:‘Detectorists’ BBC Theme Tune: What’s the song and who sings it?The song played during the shows opening credits is an original piece of music by the South African born English actor and musician Johnny Flynn. The track is simply titled Detectorists. Far from being just another TV theme tune, simply added as something to play over the credits, Flynn’s distinctive voice and guitar instantly grab your attention. A great match for Mackenzie Crook’s brilliantly relaxing rural comedy, these haunting vocals and music set the mood perfectly, playing as important a role as any of the series great selection of actors. This arrangement can be played as a piano solo, or as an accompaniment to a vocalist. Includes lyrics.
