By Various. By Words by Seymour Brown, Music by Nat D. Ayer. Arranged by Dave Gingras and John E. Dosher. Broadway,Jazz,Musical/Show. Score. 2 pages. DAVID LEE GINGRAS #823029. Published by DAVID LEE GINGRAS (A0.1227023).

Oh, You Beautiful Doll is a ragtime love song published in 1911 with words by Seymour Brown and music by Nat D. Ayer. The song was one of the first with a twelve-bar opening. The tune has been recorded hundreds of times by many artists from first publication until recent times. This version, developed from the original 1911 sheet music, features a root-based chord blocking that John and I have used in a number of our arrangements. We also added a pretty cool, simple left-hand stride for your listening (playing?) pleasure - we hope you like what we've done to make this arrangement unique!
