Piano,Vocal,Voice - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1021643 Composed by Robert E. Benton, Jr. A Cappella,Praise & Worship,Sacred,Spiritual. Score. 2 pages. Robert E. Benton, Jr. #6136421. Published by Robert E. Benton, Jr. (A0.1021643). This hymn climaxes in each verse with the wonderful reality that God’s love has filled the believer’s heart. The poetic expression of God’s love and grace in the text, which is based on Romans 5, is matched fully by the beautiful melody paired with a Dorian harmony.    The hymn is in SATB piano score (hymn) format for congregational singing, choral singing, ensemble, or solo; whether acapella, or with piano accompaniment.   For more information… Website: https://TRUSTHYMN.wordpress.com     Email:  TRUSTHYMN@yahoo.com Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/TrustHymn Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/trust_hymn/

Piano,Vocal,Voice - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1126313 Composed by Philip Le Bas. Christian,Christmas,Praise & Worship,Religious,Sacred. Score. 8 pages. Philip Le Bas #727017. Published by Philip Le Bas (A0.1126313). A new Christmas carol by Philip Le Bas for unison voices (with occasional divisi) and piano, setting the words of William Blake's poem A Cradle Song from his collection entitled Songs of Innocence. The very title of Blake's poem calls out for it to be set to music. Indeed the poem is a straightforward lullaby for the first few stanzas, sung softly by a mother over her sleeping baby, as she marvels at the wonder of this beautiful infant and expresses her love for the child. Her own anxieties and weeping for the child remind her of the Christ-child who also wept as a vulnerable baby. But as God incarnate he wept for me, for thee, for all, and brought peace to heaven and earth. (Blake uses the word beguile perhaps to indicate the paradoxical nature of a weeping God bringing redemption to a suffering world by becoming a vulnerable human baby himself.) The composition aims to avoid unnecessary complexity in the vocal parts, so that it can be sung easily particularly by a parish choir. However, it also attempts to capture some of the beauty, drama and mystery of the scene expressed by Blake. The piece begins and ends in stillness, and there are gentle climaxes here and there, reflecting some of the rise and fall of the poem's lyrics. It could be sung by a mixed or single-voice choir, but note should always be taken of the predominantly quiet dynamics of the piece, especially in the first half. https://www.sheetmusicdirect.com/en-US/se/ID_No/1216185/Product.aspx https://plbmusic.blogspot.com A Cradle Song from Songs of Innocence by William Blake (1757-1827) Sweet dreams, form a shade O'er my lovely infant's head! Sweet dreams of pleasant streams By happy, silent, moony beams! Sweet Sleep, with soft down Weave thy brows an infant crown! Sweet Sleep, angel mild, Hover o'er my happy child! Sweet smiles, in the night Hover over my delight! Sweet smiles, mother's smiles, All the livelong night beguiles. Sweet moans, dovelike sighs, Chase not slumber from thy eyes! Sweet moans, sweeter smiles, All the dovelike moans beguiles. Sleep, sleep, happy child! All creation slept and smiled. Sleep, sleep, happy sleep, While o'er thee thy mother weep. Sweet babe, in thy face Holy image I can trace; Sweet babe, once like thee Thy Maker lay, and wept for me: Wept for me, for thee, for all, When He was an infant small. Thou His image ever see, Heavenly face that smiles on thee! Smiles on thee, on me, on all, Who became an infant small; Infant smiles are His own smiles; Heaven and earth to peace beguiles.

Piano,Vocal,Voice - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.883717 By Queen. By Freddie Mercury and Frederick Mercury. Arranged by Andrei Hadap. Rock. Score. 7 pages. Andrei Hadap #3455813. Published by Andrei Hadap (A0.883717). This is my own arrangement of one of Queen's greatest hits and is a 2018 Keyboard Contest Entry. I've tried to include as many textures from the original which many arrangements lack; such as the bass part, piano chords and the groove provided by percussion as seen in the LH ostinato figure. While it may seem difficult on the page, separating each texture such as practicing the LH rhythmic ostinato and the melodic RH independently will work wonders. One characteristic of this arrangement is the gradual increase in texture complexity for every progressive verse until reaching its climax in the last.  This arrangement will certainly impress! Piano,Vocal,Voice - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1496977 Composed by Dana Alan Graybeal. 20th Century,Christian,Classical,Jewish,Sacred. Score. 52 pages. Dana Graybeal #1072119. Published by Dana Graybeal (A0.1496977). Three song cycle for soprano voice, piano and cello. The text is taken from the Old Testament book of Jeremiah. Each of the three movements showcases the range, control and expression of all three performers. The first is a somber lament featuring lush chords and soft high A for the soprano soloist. The second is a fast and frenetic, high-energy presto in compound meter with a forte high B. The final piece is an emotive, stirring and heart-rending anthem taking the soloist to a high C at the soaring climax. The cycle ends as it began. A challenge for exemplary musicians. Contains full score, piano/vocal part and cello part.

Piano,Vocal,Voice - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1218745 Composed by Carrie Jacobs-Bond. Arranged by Phil Beaman. Classical,New Age,Romantic Period,Wedding. Score. 4 pages. Phil Beaman #815182. Published by Phil Beaman (A0.1218745). The Hand of You is an arrangement of the 1920 hit pop song by Carrie Jacobs-Bond.  The lyrics are a tender love story about how throughout our relationship everything is fine as long as I can touch the hand of you.  In order to emphasize this simple and powerful emotion, for the first verse I simplified the original ballad's thick chords into a more shaped and expressive two part writing, just single notes in each hand; then for the second verse I did a reharmonization of the melody, adding some simple harmony and octaves for the climax; then back to two part for a slower, softer ending.   I also wrote a new slow introductory section with my own lyrics and melody that is based on what follows.  An incredibly beautiful piece, this is perfect for any wedding today, whether vintage or modern.  4 page score; 2:15 minutesI have published it in 3 different vocal ranges on this site:  High - low E to high F; Medium - middle C to high D; Low - low A to high B.   The MP3 recording is of the Medium Voice version.  This piece is also found in my book, Vintage Wedding Songs, a collection of 5 songs which is also available on this site.

Piano,Vocal,Voice - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1281185 By Kevin Longley. By Kevin Longley. Arranged by Kevin Longley. Christian,Easter,Lent,Praise & Worship,Sacred. Score. 9 pages. Kevin Longley #872527. Published by Kevin Longley (A0.1281185). He Will Lead Me Home (choral church anthem composed in 2023)The InspirationA few Easter seasons ago, during one of our Tuesday Choir rehearsals, we were preparing for “Good Shepherd Sundayâ€. Diane our Choir director commented “there are very few Good Shepherd pieces to choose fromâ€. One of our sopranos replied “Let's write our ownâ€. I made note of it and this past year finally found the time and inspiration to give it a try. I did my usual research on the subject matter and then found a drawing of a Shepherd standing at the top of a hill with his sheep lined up behind him. Leaning on his staff the Shepherd was contemplating the safest route home. Upon his decision he looked back and called to his sheep. The MusicThe music begins with a piano introduction depicting the Shepherd standing at the top of the hill contemplating the safest route home, as noted earlier. Stately in nature it features a simple melodic idea, played by the right hand, which is then answered by a series of majestic chords. This “back and forth†continues until it reaches its climax at a D flat major chord against a slur from a high G to F. At this point we hear what will be a reoccurring chordal theme of C major to F major and later C minor to F major. The accompaniment begins, now in three quarter time signifying the sheep beginning to move in response to the shepherds call. The verse melody is drawn from the opening three notes of the introduction but with a different rhythm and repeats it self with underlying harmonic changes. The melody and chord structure is somewhat impressionistic in nature. Lyrically a contrast is drawn between how the Shepherd (Jesus) provides for his sheep (followers) and how God provides for the “sheep†(animals) through nature. As the verse comes to an end we are lead to the realization that “the shepherd is the Lord our King, the Good Shepherd Kingâ€. The refrain begins with the tenor continuing to solo on the main melody. â€He Will Lead Home†is realized and proclaimed! A soprano descant is added for contrast. Harmonically the music makes use of the various minor key options, “melodic, harmonic and naturalâ€. The refrain concludes proclaiming “The Good Shepherds the Way He's our Life!â€. The second verse shadows the thought pattern of verse one leading to the refrain once more but this time a bridge is introduced to add drama with the piano playing a significant role. A return to the refrain is varied with the tenor singing a portion of it against softly played chords; but then resumes its rhythmic drive to its ultimate conclusion by repeating “the Good Shepherds the Way He's our Life!â€.Program NotesVoicing can be varied based on what types of singers are available. For example this could be sung by 2 tenors with one singing the descant down an octave. Finally as noted in the score, the intro is optional though I prefer it be played; the shepherd contemplating a safe route is important in the music with its contrast to the verse music and important in our life of faith.

Piano,Vocal,Voice - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.948029 By Henry Mancini. By Henry Mancini. Arranged by Marcia L McKenna. Jazz. Score. 3 pages. Marcia L. McKenna #5723009. Published by Marcia L. McKenna (A0.948029). Moon River has been a popular song since 1961. Originally written in 3/4 time by Henry Mancini, with lyrics by Johnny Mercer, this was arranged by Marcia L McKenna in 4/4 time. The dotted rhythm gives it a nice relaxing lilt like gentle waves on a river. The piano part starts quietly, builds up to a climax on the third page, and then tapers off quietly again at the end. The broken chords, descending scale passages, and expression marks enhance the romantic tone of the song. Due to the technical challenges on the third page this is considered to be at the advanced/intermediate level.

Published by By Hon-Kit Wong (A0.1023209). Pulanglah Ke Sisiku which means return to my side in Malay, is a song composed as part of a university musical play entitled Heaven Here on Earth. This duet, sung at the climax of the performance, features the male protagonist serenading his beloved in an effort to coax her to return to his side following a series of misunderstandings.Written in the style of 1960's Malaysian pop music with a hint of contemporary flavour, Pulanglah Ke Sisiku adopts a Latin beat and modulates between major and minor keys to accentuate the dynamic emotions of the scene. Musical motives from Heaven Here On Earth, the romantic ballad of the play (sheet music also available on SMP), are interspersed throughout the song to foreshadow the finale. This is the only song in the play with lyrics in Malay and serves as a tribute to the late P. Ramlee, whose musical ingenuity set the tone for Malaysia in the 1960's.

Piano,Vocal,Voice - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1218192 Composed by Carrie Jacobs-Bond. Arranged by Phil Beaman. Romantic Period,Wedding. Score. 6 pages. Phil Beaman #814689. Published by Phil Beaman (A0.1218192). Walking In Her Garden is an arrangement of the 1904 hit pop song by Carrie Jacobs-Bond.  The text compares his lover to the beautiful flowers.  Then she starts talking to the flowers, asking them about her lover.  It concludes with the famous he loves me...he loves me not.... as she plucks the petals from the daisy.  My arrangement adds quite a bit of drama to the piece.  I have converted the main theme into an oom-pah-pah waltz and greatly increased the tempo to a brisk concert waltz for the first two verses.  The B theme, where she talks to the flowers, resorts to a slower waltz ballad similar to the original.  There is then a brief recapitulation of the oom-pah-pah theme building up to the suspenseful climax.   I created a lento ending as the answers to her questions slowly unfold.   This is a great concert piece full of passion and energy that can be dramatized.  It is also perfect for any wedding today, whether vintage or modern.6 page score;  2:30 minutesI have published it in 3 different vocal ranges on this site:  High - low D to high F#; Medium - low Bb to high D; Low - low G to high B.   The MP3 recording is of the Medium Voice version.  Vocal part is Intermediate level, while Piano part is Advanced Intermediate level.  This piece is also found in my book, Vintage Wedding Songs, a collection of 5 songs which is also available on this site.

Piano,Vocal,Voice - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1390719 Composed by Clint Borzoni. 21st Century,Classical,Contemporary,Opera,Romantic Period. Score. 11 pages. Clint Borzoni #974275. Published by Clint Borzoni (A0.1390719). Soldiers are citizens of death's grey land, Drawing no dividend from time's to-morrows. In the great hour of destiny they stand, Each with his feuds, and jealousies, and sorrows. Soldiers are sworn to action; they must win Some flaming, fatal climax with their lives. Soldiers are dreamers; when the guns begin They think of firelit homes, clean beds and wives. I see them in foul dug-outs, gnawed by rats, And in the ruined trenches, lashed with rain, Dreaming of things they did with balls and bats, And mocked by hopeless longing to regain Bank-holidays, and picture shows, and spats, And going to the office in the train.– Siegfried Sassoon (1886-1967).
