Little White Lies is a popular song, written by Walter Donaldson and published in 1930. It was recorded on July 25, 1930 by Fred Waring's Pennsylvanians (on the Victor label) with vocal by Clare Hanlon and The Waring Girls. Several other artists also recorded the song in 1930 including bandleaders Ted Wallace (Columbia) and Earl Burtnett (Brunswick) as well as vocalists Johnny Marvin (Victor), Marion Harris (Brunswick) and Lee Morse (Columbia). This version was developed from the original 1930 sheet music and features a root-based chord blocking that John and I have used in a number of our arrangements - we hope you like what we've done with this grand old tune!

Somebody Loves Me is a popular song, with music written by George Gershwin, and lyrics by Ballard MacDonald and Buddy DeSylva. It was recorded in its debut year by Paul Whiteman (with vocals by Jack Fulton, Charles Gaylord and Austin Skin Young), Harry Richman, and The Revelers.

Whispering is a popular song, first published in 1920 by Sherman, Clay & Co., of San Francisco. The initial 1920 copyright and first publishing attributes the lyrics to Malvin Schonberger and the music to John Schonberger. Whispering was recorded by Paul Whiteman and his Ambassador Orchestra on August 23, 1920, for the Victor Talking Machine Company at their studios in Camden, New Jersey. Ferde Grofé arranged the composition and played piano on the recording. This version was developed from the original 1920 sheet music and features a root-based chord blocking that John and I have used in many of  our arrangements. Masterpiece is a song performed by the group Motionless in White released on April 13th, 2022. Written by producer Andrew Colin Fulk, front man Chris Motionless Cerulli, songwriter Justin Deblieck and producer Erik Ron. It is the 6th song off the bands album Scoring the End of the World and has been described as a heavy metal ballad. When I wanted to learn the song on the piano I noticed that there were no complete versions of it out there so I wrote my own arrangement of the song. I arranged the song to be played on piano or sung but it will work on a variety of instruments. The solo in the middle was originally for a guitar but it sounds great when played on the piano so I included it in this arrangement. Enjoy!

This arrangement of the funky-grooved song from the Broadway musical THE LIFE is very true to the original version of the song as heard on the Broadway Cast album of the show. 

The Life is a musical that premiered on Broadway in 1997 after a short Off-Broadway run in 1990 with a book by David Newman, Ira Gasman and Cy Coleman, music by Coleman, and lyrics by Gasman.

Based on an original idea by Gasman, the show explores the underbelly of Times Square's 42nd Street, inhabited by pimps and prostitutes, druggies and dealers, and runaways and street people in the era prior to its Disneyfication. The Cast starred Sam Harris, Lillias White, Chuck Cooper and others.
