With this sheet music, you can play Candle in the Wind by Elton John on piano!

It's an accurate, carefully created piano arrangement of the full song.
The vocal melody is included in the piano part, so it makes for a perfect piano solo cover!

Candle in the Wind was written in 1973 by Elton John and Bernie Taupin in memory of Marilyn Monroe, who had passed away 11 years earlier.
Elton John famously performed a rewritten version of the song in 1997 for Princess Diana (after her death in a car crash). It became known as Candle in the Wind 1997 or Goodbye England's Rose after the first line of the new lyrics.

This arrangement is based on the original 1973 version of Candle in the Wind, which was included on Elton John's album Goodbye Yellow Brick Road.

By Elton John. By Bernie Taupin and Elton John. Arranged by Damien Clift. Pop,Rock. Score. 8 pages. Damien Clift #4297683. Published by Damien Clift (A0.803662).

This classic Elton John tune featured in the hit 2016 animated movie 'Sing', with a whole new generation of fans discovering it's foot tapping power. Taron Egerton's cover in the movie was ferocious, with a hot piano part that Jerry Lee Lewis would be proud of. This arrangement maintains a vocal line that is true to the Taron Egerton and original Elton verions, but the piano part is based on the movie soundtrack version and includes all of those flamboyant piano parts (and then some). Enjoy!
