It was released in 1953 and has been recorded by many, many artists such as Sara Vaughn, Nancy Wilson, Dinah Washington, Frank Sinatra and others too numerous to mention. This contemporary arrangemeny by myself and co-arranger John E. Dosher is fun to play and experiment with and makes use of a root-based chord-blocking technique that we have used in a number fo our arrangements. We hope you like it!

I'll Remember April is a popular song and jazz standard with music written in 1941 by Gene de Paul, and lyrics by Patricia Johnston and Don Raye. It made its debut in the 1942 Abbott and Costello comedy Ride 'Em Cowboy, being sung by Dick Foran. The lyric uses the seasons of the year metaphorically to illustrate the growth and death of a romance. This version features a root-based chord blocking that John and I have used in a number of our arrangements. We also added some pretty cool left-hand fills to keep things moving along smoothly.
