Teach Me Tonight is a popular song that has become a jazz standard. The music was written by Gene DePaul with words by Sammy Cahn. It was released in 1953 and has been recorded by many, many artists such as Sara Vaughn, Nancy Wilson, Dinah Washington, Frank Sinatra and others too numerous to mention. This contemporary arrangemeny by myself and co-arranger John E. Dosher is fun to play and experiment with and makes use of a root-based chord-blocking technique that we have used in a number fo our arrangements. We hope you like it!
