The cabaret-ballad “Darling, Je Vous Aime Beaucoup�, words and music by Anna Sosenko was composed in 1935.  The romantic and bi-lingual lyrics about an English lad who had fallen in love with a Parisian girl became immensely popular with Allied servicemen during WW II.  Sosenko was also the manager of singer-pianist, “the incomparable Hildegarde� (Hildegarde Loretta Sell) who adopted the song as her theme song, and gave it its popularity.  This arrangement is in a simple cabaret ballad style for solo voice and pianist.
